I get a lot of requests for rental properties, but I unfortunately don’t often deal with those. However, I wanted to help you out and steer you in the right direction when it comes to finding rental properties.
When you ask me for a rental, I’m going to provide you with a link which will take you to a public access use of the MLS.
Once you’re on that page, go to the property type tab and select “Rental.” From there, you can search by city, for example Oxnard, and the number on the right of the page will tell you how many rental properties there are in Oxnard.
At any point you can click “View Results,” but there are other filters you can use to search as well such as bedrooms, bathrooms, approximate square feet, lot size, and other filters you will see in the list under “Property Type.”
You can look at what’s available in multiple cities at once, as well. Just select the cities you want to see properties in and the MLS page will load your criteria and show you those properties.
You can edit your search at any time.

Once you click “View Results,” it will bring you to a page that will show you properties that meet all of the criteria you entered on the previous page. Not only can you see pictures of these properties, but if you go to the detail tab on the top right of your screen, you’ll be able to see who is representing that property so you know who to contact.
Once you find a property, you can find the agent in charge of that property, Google them, and get all their information to contact them directly.
You can edit your search at any time, as well. This comes in handy if you decide you need more or less bedrooms or more or less square feet, for example.
If you need a rental, I’ll be happy to give you the link so you can do a search and contact the agents representing the rental properties you are interested in. Also, if you are ever looking to sell a home or know anyone who is, please feel free to give me a call or send me an email. I would be more than happy to help!
